The ₹499 founding deposit

The ₹499 is a deposit, not a purchase. It reserves one of 20 founding places at the founding price, and it is refundable in full at any time, for any reason or none.

If you go on to subscribe, the ₹499 is deducted from your first invoice, so it is never an extra charge.

How to cancel and get a refund

What you do

Reply to any email from founder@astropracticehq.com, or write to that address from the email you paid with, and say you want the deposit back. There is no form, no cancellation window, and no reason required.

What happens then

• I acknowledge your message within one working day.
• The refund is initiated through Razorpay within three working days of your request.
• Razorpay returns the money to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer then takes a further 5–7 working days to post it, which is outside my control.
• The refund is for the full ₹499. Nothing is deducted for processing.

If the product never ships

If AstroPractice is not delivered, every deposit is refunded automatically, without anyone having to ask. You are not required to chase me for it.

Service delivery

AstroPractice is software delivered online only. Nothing is shipped physically, so no delivery charges, courier or address are involved.

Founding members receive access by email, at the address used to pay, when the first version ships, expected around six weeks from the date of the deposit. Founding members get access before general availability. If that date moves, I write and tell you, and the deposit stays refundable throughout.

Once you are a subscriber

Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. You can cancel at any time from your account, and cancellation stops the next renewal.

• Monthly: cancel whenever you like. Your access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. Part-months are not refunded.
• Yearly: if you cancel within 14 days of a yearly charge, I refund it in full. After that, access runs to the end of the paid year.
• If the service is materially broken and I cannot fix it for you, write to me and I will refund the period in question. I would rather do that than keep money from someone I have failed.

Disputes

If something has gone wrong with a payment, please write to founder@astropracticehq.com before raising a chargeback. A refund is faster than a dispute, and I have never refused one. All payments are processed by Razorpay; their terms apply to the transaction itself.
